George Wrocklage was born on April 21, 1929 and attended Hackensack High School from 1943 to 1947 when he graduated. 

George Wrocklage served in the Army during the Korean War state side at Fort Eustis, in Newport News, Virginia and Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia close to Hampton Roads coastal area, which was established during the First World War for coastal protection.

        George Wrocklage service was in the Army Transportation Corp. as a cook and rose to the rank of Corporal.
